Orthopaedics East: ModMed EMA + Radix Health + rater8 → one practice-operations view

The problem
Orthopaedics East already runs on good systems: ModMed EMA for the chart and schedule, Radix Health for online self-scheduling, rater8 for 21,465 verified patient ratings, HURT! for injury triage. But each one reports in its own screen, so the promises the practice publishes on its website ("90% of patients seen within 30 minutes", "97% would refer", 1,000+ joint replacements a year) are assembled by hand, after the fact. With a new Practice Administrator stepping in and eight surgeons' clinics to balance, the practice needs those numbers live, by provider, by week, without anyone exporting a spreadsheet.
How it fits together
What changes on day one
The 30-minute promise is measured daily. Check-in to room-in time from ModMed per provider, per clinic day, against the published 90% target, instead of an annual survey figure.
No-shows get caught the same week. Any provider above 10% no-show triggers a Monday alert with the slots that could be back-filled from the Radix waitlist.
Online vs phone booking is visible. Radix self-scheduled share by provider, so the front desk knows whose templates are open online and whose are not.
Joint volume tracks against the 1,000-a-year pace, split knee / hip / shoulder and ROSA vs conventional, with MRI-per-day and PT plan completion downstream.
rater8 ratings sit beside access numbers, so a dip in a surgeon's score can be read against wait time that same week — and the live count feeds the website automatically.

Phased approach
DiscoveryWeeks 1–3Confirm ModMed EMA data access (API or scheduled exports), Radix and rater8 feeds, PACS/ModMed Pay vendors; agree the KPI definitions with Mr. Scheel and the clinic director; HIPAA data-handling plan and BAA.
BuildWeeks 4–9Azure SQL warehouse and Functions pipelines; provider/patient ID matching; Power BI model and the operations dashboard (the sample provided is the wireframe); Power Automate alert rules; website widget for the live rater8 count.
Go-liveWeeks 10–12Parallel run against current manual reports for two weeks; training for the administrator, clinic director and physician partners; hand-over with documented refresh schedule and support window.
Also worth knowing: BICS can host a private AI server inside the practice's Azure tenant for summarising rater8 comments and triage notes without PHI leaving the environment, and build Power Apps for front-desk waitlist management or vendor-rep check-in (the practice already has a vendor-rep page) on the same data.
